Since we have been having allot of rain now the grass is loving it, and is growing like crazy, Remember when you mow you should set you mower deck to 4" doing so the grass can hold the water longer and will stay greener, Keep the Blade on your mower Sharp, You want it to cut your grass not rip it!
When using your weedeatter, weed eat after mowing and only weed eat to the the length that you mowed the grass, Not down to the soil!!

HEADS UP!!

I was talking to a new customer a few days ago and She told me about a few people that She called about doing her yard clean-up before She called me and this is what She told me, The first guy that was called had a craigslist ad, Like i do,and he said that he could do the Job If she had a Rake that he could use, Come on, If you dont have the tools you cant do the job!! The 2nd Guy she called told her he needed $200 up front! Money up front for what a yard clean-up, you dont have to put out money before the job is done on a Yard Clean-Up!! If you do chances are your money will be gone and so will the guy you gave it too!!
I never ask for money upfront on a clean-Up!! I have every tool i need to do the job and then some!! It seems like anyone thinks that they all can be Landscapers, Most of the guys that run Ads on craigslist just want to take your money and do as little as they can if anything!! If you want it done right call us, or someone that has been in business for at least a year or two!!

Fertilizers should be used on your LAWN,SHRUBS,PALMS, Fertilizers should be used on your Lawn 4 times a year in MARCH,JUNE,SEPTEMBER,DECEMBER!

Check the Bag for spreader settings and make shore you Sweep or Blow off fertilizers from Concrete! Fertilizers can stain Concrete!

One of the reasons i like working outside is you see the coolest things, Baby Birds, Butter Flys, and on this day an OWL, the first time I've seen one in the daytime, it was about 3:00 in the afternoon,and as you can see in the photo he was looking right at us,the Homeowner and I!!I just was thinking how Cool is this!!,Thanks Mark for the great photo!!

WEED'S TAKING OVER YOUR FLOWERBEDS

Weed's and Grass taking over your flowerbeds, the reason for this is that,#1-Maybe there is no cloth under you bed mulch or rock,or #2- there is cloth but it's full of holes,This happens over time when the cloth starts to fall apart.or#3-The cloth used is not designed for landscaping, I have found all kinds of stuff people us thinking it will keep out weeds, Like newspaper, window screen,plastic bags,bags that mulch came in, You name it!,You should pull the weeds out of the beds, don't us Round-Up,Round-Up makes the weeds Harder to pull,After you weed and put down new cloth and some new Mulch, about 3"or 4" or rock about 2", Your flowerbeds will look great and stay looking great!
