Since we have been having allot of rain now the grass is loving it, and is growing like crazy, Remember when you mow you should set you mower deck to 4" doing so the grass can hold the water longer and will stay greener, Keep the Blade on your mower Sharp, You want it to cut your grass not rip it!
When using your weedeatter, weed eat after mowing and only weed eat to the the length that you mowed the grass, Not down to the soil!!

HEADS UP!!

I was talking to a new customer a few days ago and She told me about a few people that She called about doing her yard clean-up before She called me and this is what She told me, The first guy that was called had a craigslist ad, Like i do,and he said that he could do the Job If she had a Rake that he could use, Come on, If you dont have the tools you cant do the job!! The 2nd Guy she called told her he needed $200 up front! Money up front for what a yard clean-up, you dont have to put out money before the job is done on a Yard Clean-Up!! If you do chances are your money will be gone and so will the guy you gave it too!!
I never ask for money upfront on a clean-Up!! I have every tool i need to do the job and then some!! It seems like anyone thinks that they all can be Landscapers, Most of the guys that run Ads on craigslist just want to take your money and do as little as they can if anything!! If you want it done right call us, or someone that has been in business for at least a year or two!!

When to use Fertilizers!

Fertilizers should be used on your LAWN,SHRUBS,PALMS, Fertilizers should be used on your Lawn 4 times a year in MARCH,JUNE,SEPTEMBER,DECEMBER!
Fertilizers should be used on Shrubs and Palms 2 times a year in MARCH,SEPTEMBER!
Check the Bag for spreader settings and make shore you Sweep or Blow off fertilizers from Concrete! Fertilizers can stain Concrete!

Something COOL!!

One of the reasons i like working outside is you see the coolest things, Baby Birds, Butter Flys, and on this day an OWL, the first time I've seen one in the daytime, it was about 3:00 in the afternoon,and as you can see in the photo he was looking right at us,the Homeowner and I!!I just was thinking how Cool is this!!,Thanks Mark for the great photo!!
